3D-printing with two colours on an FFF 3D printer is literally hairy stuff! One of the typical issues is avoiding colour-contamination and strings created from residues of molten plastic from the “opposite” print head.
Here are some images showing our latest tests with dual-3D-printing. The result shows the #3DBenchy boat as it came out of the 3D printer without any post-processing.
We called this version the chocolate-mint-styled #3DBenchy.
Stay tuned for more information about the release of the multi-colour STL files.
